Onderzoek

Discoursonderzoek naar communicatie en gezondheid(szorg), met name via Internet. Ik maak gebruik van Conversatieanalyse en andere vormen van discoursanalyse.

Mijn huidige onderzoek betreft een kwalitatieve analyse van de interactie tussen cursisten en coaches via email en chat in het kader van een Internetcursus tegen angst en depressie. Ik bekijk in de eerste plaats het fenomeen “recipient design” in deze interactie en vergelijk op dit punt de interactie via chat, via email en via automatische antwoorden. Dit onderzoek sluit aan op een project van de afdeling Psychologie en Pedagogiek (VU) naar de effectiviteit van een Internetcursus voor preventieve interventie (“Alles onder controle”).
