The Faculty of Arts is situated in the main building of the Vrije Universiteit in Amsterdam - Buitenveldert, and can easily be reached by car and public transport. The Faculty offices and departments are located on floors 9 – 12.

  - tram 5, direction Amstelveen Binnenhof (1 minute)
  - it's a 10 minute walk to the VU from Station Zuid/WTC
• From Schiphol Airport:
  - travellers arriving at Schiphol can take a train to Station Zuid/WTC
