Speaking at Work
This training programme involves four sessions of three hours each. At the start of the training programme we will discuss your learning needs with you, i.e. the conversational situations you would like to practise and the difficulties you experience. We will then form maximally homogeneous groups of at most eight participants, for whom we will customise a training programme. We have based our programme on group meetings rather than on individual sessions, as we feel that the best way to learn Dutch is by interacting, in a group with fellow students, supervised by a teacher.
During the programme we will create maximally realistic conversational situations; situations that you are likely to encounter at work and that allow you to practise the language required in those situations. You will learn which phrases are most suitable in various kinds of talks with employers and colleagues, and which phrases you need for presentations, discussions, meetings, and (telephone) contact with, for instance, customers.
The training programmes are available to small groups of employees from one company or institution. Our trainers will come to you, with a custom-made in-company training programme. Below are the main details concerning the Speaking at Work course. Please also read our general terms and conditions before submitting your application.
