Dissertation prize for Tina Krennmayr
Tina Krennmayr wins the dr. Maria Schaumayer-Stiftung prize for her dissertation “Metaphor in newspapers”
The Dr. Maria Schaumayer-Stiftung has selected Tina Krennmayr’s dissertation “Metaphor in newspapers” as one of the top doctoral dissertations of 2011. The award was granted to just 19 recipients across all academic disciplines. Open to women at Austrian universities and Austrian women abroad, the foundation intends the prize to promote women in business and science.
Tina Krennmayr currently works as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Language and Communication and is a member of the Metaphor Lab.
