Mosaic Scholarship for Joana Ozorio de Almeida Meroz

Joana Ozorio de Almeida Meroz (Visual Arts, Media and Architecture research MA student) has been awarded an NWO Mosaic PhD scholarship to carry out her research 'A Socio-Cultural History of Dutch Design, 1945-2010'.

This is the first time a Mosaic scholarship is awarded to the Faculty of Arts of the VU University Amsterdam. She will be giving a presentation on her research at the official Mosaic award ceremony on 17 October 2011 after the speech by VU rector magnificus Lex Bouter.
