CLUE is a research institute in which more than thirty scientists, working in four different faculties of VU university are involved. Scientists with various disciplinary backgrounds such as history, archaeology, economy, sociology and cultural sciences, are working on interdisciplinary, often international projects, concerning the changing role of heritage in our environment, the historical dimension of spatial issues and the historical development of city and countryside.
